Merry Christmas everyone!
I am so excited about the season and all the hope and promise that the Christmas season and the new year brings. I have been making all these cute little boxes. I now have a Master's in the Science of Paper Crafting from YouTube University! This little box is my December post for the Eclectic Ellapu design team our (December projects). The pink team's theme is "Anything Christmas" and the purple team's theme is "Jingle Bells" (incorporate jingle bells in your project). For my project, I chose to make a candy box. I used some retired Stampin' UP! (SU) 6x6 Designer Series Paper also know as DSP. I followed another one of Sam Donald's tutorials on You Tube-Sweetie Window Box Tutorial using Stampin' Up! DSP .
The holly, pine springs were made using Martha Stewart punches, the sugared flatback embellishments are from Hobby Lobby, I used the (retired) SU large oval and scalloped oval punches, along with some Recollections (Michaels) clear card stock to make the windows. I used a small whole punch from Hobby Lobby (Paper Studios), and 1/8"white satin ribbon from JoAnn's. I am going to remake the box using some current SU products and I will be sure to post that as well.
This was fun and pretty quick project, I hope you'll give it a try... Til' next time, Merry Christmas and an Awesome New Year!
