Zebra Print Wall Hanger

Happy Turkey Day folks!
I know you're all probably hanging out with the folks, giving thanks or our many blessings. We have only but to look at the daily news to know just how blessed truly are.

I want to share a Zebra print wall hanger I did for a co-worker.  She really likes the hot pink, black and white animal print; so I decided to make her hanger with those colours.  The print is a bit busy for me, so I needed to keep it simple with the embellies.  I left spaces  where she could post little pictures of her children, herself, quotes, or Bible verses that she likes. Supplies: gross grain ribbon, hot pink cardstock, Zebra print designer paper, WOC and Recollections flowers, charms,  rose bud strip, bling, and tassels.

Thanks for stopping by, Hugz from me

Canvas #2, The Dress!

Hey Y'all,
Hope all is well.  Today, I am sharing my second canvas project.  I am following the Gabrielle step-by-step tutorials on YouTube.  Of course, I start out pretty good; then I take that left turn and can't for the life of me get back on track with her. However, whatever I've come out with I am quite pleased.  For this canvas, I used an old Colorbox Paper pack (sorry, my craft room is a mess and I can't find it).  The piece in the corner, I made using my Cricut and Ornamental Iron I cart.  I cut the corner out 3 times and adhere them together to make my own chipboard piece.   My next canvas project will be the Window! That one will take way longer than the other two, so I've got to syke myself up for it.  For now, I hope you enjoy this canvas project.

Give Us This Day...

Howdy my crafting friends,
Today, just wanted to share a nice rustic sympathy card I created.  I created the scene using a number of stamps and inks. This is a perfect card for the season and not too over the top for a sympathy card.  I really like the way the inside of card turned out.  I used 2nd Corinthians 5:7 for the inside sentiment.  I also used some moss and jute on the outside of the card.  The card stock is from my stash, I printed the greeting (Give Us This Day) and used a Stampin' Up! punch to punch it out.  Now, I just need make a brown matching envelope and it will be ready to go.  I hope you enjoy the card, thanx for stoppin' by...

All Dolled Up with Prima and Heartfelt Creations

Hi everybody, just a quick note to share a tag I did using my Julie Nutting Mixed Media Doll stamp from Prima and Heartfelt Creations paper pack Sun Kissed! I did this tag for Lesia November Challenge over at Mema's Crafts.  I used some seam binding that I dyed using Tim Holtz Distress re-Inker Vintage Photo, I traced around a wooden flag embellishment onto some of the Sun Kissed paper and stamped it with a JustRite stamp.  I used Heartfelt Creations a flower stamp with the matching die and a Memory Box "Estate Fence" die. I added some Recollection greenish-blue flat-back pearls. The base tag is some turtle green cardstock from my stash. Additional supporting items included 7-Gypsies verbiage stamp, a Fleur de Lis stamp from Hobby Lobby, and a piece old book paper. The tag was inked using Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Many of the items I used to make this tag and others, like Memory Box Dies, Prima Marketing, Tim Holtz, and Copic Markers can be found at The Rubber Buggy.   I'm kind of stuck of the Jules dolls now, so I'm going to do a few more tags before it's all over!

Chat soon and hugz from me!
