Hi all,
Sorry for the long hiatus. Blogger and I are having massive uploading issues. Somedays it will upload photos without any problem and somedays (most days) NOT! So, I will just tell you about my card that I did for the Inks and Such "Pink" challenge. This challenge is in support for Breast Cancer month and our never ending quest to find the cure. For my card I used Robert Jackson's rose image. I merged the rose 3 times to make a cluster of roses. I coloured the image with Prisma Color Pencils and Mineral Spirit, I also used Copics on the leaves. I then copied the image in different ways to create the patterned paper (out of plain printer paper). I used Nesti labels 13 and the stacking technique on the outside of the card. I used the double embossing technique to make the frame for the inside sentiment. I made the sentiment up. The black CS is from my stash. I stitch the design on the front of the card. Well, thank you for stopping by. Just as soon as Blogger and I can come to a firm understanding about this picture uploading problem; I will post more often.
Please be sure to stop over at Jackson's Digital Expressions and join this weeks Inks and Such challenge #24, Breast Cancer Awareness or Pink. For every entry into the challenge a .25 cent donation will be given to Breast Cancer Research. You can also join the challenge at Mema's Crafts as she is also giving a donation toward Breast Cancer Research every entry in her October challenge.

ReplyDeleteLovely card. Love the technique you used in the front of the card and the use of Robert's Rose as background paper. TFS.
