Hi my precious mon amis (not sure if this should be a double i or an s or neither)
Lesia (my stampin' BFF) of Mema's Crafts inspired me to design a card for her challenge . Her challenge this month is Let's Play Bingo. I think the prize involves Saturated Canary this is a link to Krista's store. This was a difficult challenge for me. I started out really disliking this card because it wasn't coming out as I envisioned. I thought I was going to have to scrap the whole concept I had going in mind and start a new. Luckily I was able to come up with a new design from what I had started. By the end of the production, I was in love my card! This is a different feel for me. I'm so use to having an image to colour. This is one of those cards that you hold on to for a little bit before you sell it (lol). It seems I have the hardest time trying to do clean and simple cards. Not really sure why, because that's what I started out with (former SU demonstrator). Oh and just a heads-up if you have not used the SBN Floral Oval-it is tricky getting your die cut out. (What I did) After I poked all the little circles on the back of the die, I took my Tim Holtz piercing tool (the red and gray one) and ran just the tip along the inside rim and the die cut started lifting. You could also use the wax paper method. Well anyway, I hope you like the card as much as I do. I took a couple 2,3, 4 views so you could get a good look. Don't forget to leave a comment. I'll be back soon with a project that I did from a tutorial in one of the Magnolia Ink magazines.
Also be sure and stop over to see us at Jackson's Digital Expressions you still have time to enter the altered art challenge, it ends Monday night. We have challenges every week. The next challenge is from the Sketch team, it starts on Tuesday, May 22nd and good luck to everyone.
Hugz, Joyce

You're right Joyce I do like what you did to the card and now don't you agree it's an easy card? You've always coordinated your colors well and I like your choices for this card as well. Your cards reflect your talent as well as your style.
