Hey everyone,
I hope all is well. Today I'd like to share a cute little project that would make excellent favors any party. I've been wanting to try something with the milk carton idea. My plan was to buy the Stampin' UP! Milk Carton die; however, that baby is "30 something dollars". Of course that "30 something dollars" does not include the shipping and tax. Depending on where you live you can add another 18% plus to that "30 something"-NOT!!!!! Well one day, I was just looking at some of my Cricut carts and happened to come across the milk carton cut (Oh yeah baby)! It was great! I stamped my paper first using Amazing Paper Grace's Vintage Alphabet Soup Background Stamp. I bought it on the JustRite Papercraft site, I used some black Staz-On ink, I think I used a SU stamp for the greeting but I can find it to give you the name (sorry), I used some trim that I got from JoAnn and a couple of Prime flowers called Sherwood Rose Cottage (2011). You can probably still find these flowers on e-Bay; I have not done a search to confirm that, but it would be a good place to start. Also to hold the top of the Carton closed, I glued one of the flowers to one of the Tim Holtz tiny paper clips. Here are a few of the pictures I took of my finished project. This would be a good one to try. There are also tutorials on the internet that tell how to make a milk carton from scratch, if don't want to buy the Cricut cart (Tags, Bags & More 2) or the SU die. Some of the Cricut image can be bought individually for a small fee, I'm not sure if the Milk Carton is one but I would give it a try. Thanks for stopping by and have a awesome crafting day!
